No one can plan for water damage to their home.  Spaulding Decon is prepared 24/7 to respond to your home and extract the water.  We will move your items out of the house, pack your belongings, dry them and relocate them to another area of your home or a storage unit.

We are highly and trained and certified by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration in water classification and the classes of water damage.  Utilizing moisture meters and advanced drying equipment we are able to thoroughly dry your home out and begin the rebuild process.

If your house has suffered water damage don’t panic.  The following tips are useful to homeowners to do prior to our arrival.

  • Locate the source of the leak.
  • Shut off the water at the source or at the main in your yard.
  • If you don’t know where that is contact the city and have them respond to turn off the main.
  • Turn your air conditioner on no lower than 72 degrees to speed drying.
  • Remove any books or furniture that may bleed off of the carpet.
  • Call Spaulding Decon to begin removing the water from your house.  Call your insurance company (services are covered by homeowners insurance) on their toll free 24 hr phone number.
  • Spaulding Decon will photograph and document our process as well as the damage to your house so an insurance adjuster can monitor the progress.
  • Spaulding Decon will gather and remove your water-damaged items.  All items will be recorded, logged and photographed.
  • Keep a log of your own of any damaged items and any receipts for purchases you incur as a result of the water damage.
